We are in the middle of the rainy season. I don’t know about other countries, but rain, romance, and Chai are inseparable partners in India and Pakistan. There are numerous stories with these three essential elements in our region. So it’s better to make memories while you look your best.
Our skins react to all weathers differently, and in the rainy season, I must say they react funny. It is hard for us to decide what is best for the face in the season there is no dryness, but there is not defiantly so much oil yet skin problems ahhh, they never leave our corners. Lucky you because here are few tips that can help you stay glowing and bright in the beautiful season.
Cleanse with face wash:
The face wash is the best cleanser you can find in the rainy season. It rains heavily for days, and when it doesn’t, there is a lot of sticky feeling. Soap-free gentle face wash will get you rid of all oil and dirt sticks to your skin and leave a tidy, clear sense. But do not use face wash more than two to three times a day because excessive use might cause dryness and itchiness.
Exfoliate:
Exfoliate your skin at least twice or thrice a week. It will get rid of dead skin cells, and you will get a healthy skin glow. Scrubbing also increases blood circulation in the face and flushes out the toxins. With dead skin cells removed, skincare products absorb perfectly and offer many benefits.
Sunscreen:
Wear sunscreen daily. It might not be scorching sun and the weather is mostly cloudy and wet, but sunscreen will keep your skin away from any harmful rays and environmental pollution.
Use toner:
Monsoon, rain, and rise in humidity are understood facts. The increase in humidity makes us feel sticky and greasy, and using the right toner can help us get rid of this feeling during summer. Ensure that you are using alcohol-free toner to stay healthy, glowing, and fresh. Look for something containing antioxidants like green tea.
Make-up or no makeup:
In summer, you can follow skincare tips and glow without makeup. A non make up look stays better when skin is shining, and also, it is hard for make-up to stay on the face for long in warm weather.
So if you are already following the low or minimum makeup rule in winter, keep following in the rainy season. Use CC creams and a tinted lip balm to stay glowing and look healthy.
Use face masks:
Use face masks to keep excessive oil at bay. Clay masks can do wonders to make you look glowing and happy. Try to use masks containing aloe vera, green tea, or antibacterial ingredients. Multani mitti masks are best in the season.
Use moisturizer:
Do not forget to use moisturizer even it's the summer or rainy season. Use light moisturizers according to your skin type, so you do not feel heavy, and they get absorbed quicker.
Use Vitamin C:
Vitamin C makes your skin glow and also helps reducing aging signs. It boosts the immune system and keeps skin infections at bay. Using vitamin-c serums will reduce blemishes, fights bacteria, and offer radiant and flawless skin.
Take care of the body:
Rainy season brings more chances of skin infection; that is why; take care of your body and skin. Use anti-fungal powder after taking a bath every day. Particularly in places where there are more chances of infections and skin allergies.
Pro-tip to stay glowing:
Use natural skin remedies from the kitchen to keep glowing and look radiant and flawless. Natural ingredients are free of chemical harshness and minimize the chances of any side effects. You will remain shining and bright for long.
Let’s wrap it up:
Home remedies or market skincare products – regular skincare ensure shine and radiant glow. It all takes a little effort, and who knows, this season, rain, romance, and chai will be knocking on your door!!!!
